What this site is
General information about moving to, visiting, living in and investing in Greece. Every figure carries a source and the date we last checked it, and that date is the honest limit of what we are claiming.
What it is not
It is not legal, tax, immigration, medical or financial advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. We are not a law firm, a tax practice, an immigration consultancy or a regulated financial adviser.
Accuracy and its limits
We verify figures against primary sources where we can and mark them as unverified where we cannot. Greek rules change, sometimes at short notice and sometimes retrospectively. A figure that was correct when we checked it can be wrong by the time you read it, which is why every page shows its verification date rather than presenting itself as timeless.
Where an official source and this site disagree, the official source is correct. Please tell us so we can fix it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on this site. Decisions about visas, tax, property and healthcare should be taken with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Our calculators produce estimates for orientation and each one states what it does not model.
Acceptable use
Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution. Do not scrape it wholesale, republish it as your own, or present our figures without the verification dates that give them their meaning — a number from this site without its date is exactly the kind of thing this site exists to fix.
Intellectual property
The original writing, the dataset structure and the calculators are ours. Official figures are facts and belong to nobody. We summarise and link to sources rather than reproducing them.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes will be recorded on the updates page like everything else.
