Contact and corrections

If a number here is wrong, we want to know that more than we want anything else. Corrections go ahead of new writing, because a wrong figure on a page about visas or tax costs somebody real money.

What are you getting in touch about?

• A figure on the site is wrong

  The most useful message names the page, the figure and what the official source says instead. If you have a link to the authority’s own page, that settles it immediately.

  Report a correction

• Something is hard or impossible to use

  Tell us what happened and what you were using — browser, screen reader, phone or desktop. Accessibility reports are treated like factual corrections and go to the top of the queue.

  Internal links are checked on every deploy, so a broken one is a genuine bug. Links out to Greek government pages break more often — those move constantly.

  The professional directory is not built yet. If you are a Greek translator, lawyer, accountant, relocation agent, mover or insurance broker, read how a partnership would work first — then get in touch. Our vetting criteria will be published before any listing goes live, and payment will never affect ranking.

• A privacy or data request

  We hold very little: no cookies, no IP addresses, no visitor identifiers. Most requests therefore take minutes to answer. Ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.

What makes a correction easy to act on

Three things, and the third is the one that settles it:

1. Which page — the address is enough.
2. Which figure — there are often several on a page.
3. What the official source says instead, ideally with a link. AADE, the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, e-EFKA, ELSTAT and the European Commission are the authorities we work from.

You do not need all three. A message saying "the figure on this page looks wrong" is still worth sending — we would rather re-check something and find it correct than leave a wrong number standing.

Please do not send us documents

No passport numbers, tax numbers, AMKA numbers, scans or photographs of documents. We do not need them, we cannot assess them, and there is nothing useful we could do with them. If your question genuinely requires someone to read your documents, that is a question for a Greek lawyer or accountant, not for us.

What we cannot help with

We cannot tell you whether your application will succeed, choose a route for your circumstances, review documents, or intervene with a Greek authority on your behalf. We are not a law firm, a tax practice or an immigration consultancy — and that limit is also what makes the site useful, because it means we have nothing to sell you and can say plainly when a route is a bad fit. Questions people actually ask

Why is there no contact form?

Because this is a static site with no server behind it to receive one. We could add a form that posts to a third-party service, but that would mean naming another processor in our privacy policy and handing them your message. A plain email address has no failure modes, no intermediary, and you keep a copy of what you sent. The links on this page pre-fill a subject and a short template so a correction still arrives with the detail it needs.

How quickly will you reply?

We would rather not promise a time we cannot keep. What we can say is the order: corrections and accessibility reports are dealt with ahead of new writing, because a wrong figure on a page about visas or tax can cost somebody real money. If you are reporting one of those and you do not hear back, send it again.

What if the official source and this site disagree?

The official source is right and we are wrong. Send us the link and we will correct the page and date the correction on it. That is the whole basis on which we ask anyone to trust the site.

Can you tell me which visa I should apply for?

No, and it would be irresponsible to try. We are not a law firm, a tax practice or an immigration consultancy, and the answer depends on facts about you that we cannot assess by email. Use the visa finder for orientation, read the route pages including the section on who each one is wrong for, then take the shortlist to a Greek immigration lawyer.

Will you review my documents?

No. Do not send us documents. We have no way to assess them, no business holding them, and nothing to gain from having them sitting in an inbox.
